Mountains Range Added

I think they should add a mountain range like the Ural Mountains in Russian and the Himalayas in Asia but much smaller it snows on there (basically 24/7) and without the right equipment you will die of hypothermia but you may think its all stupid and no one will go there but I think there should be a built in Nuclear bunker inside the mountains (which has military grade equipment) also the mountain should have a few buildings maybe on the largest mountain? I know there are some Mountains in the game but I mean 2,500 to 5,000 feet high. do you like this idea share your thoughts down here

I guess they would have to enlarge the map quite a bit more than now for that ... such mountains take a lot of space on their base. I basically look at the tradeoff .... gettint mountains in = work, bigger map, parts or the map reserved for "only" those mountains (including those bases) as a new gimik. Now the question, how much would the game really improve by those additions? Imo i doubt it is worth the drawbacks, but that is just me.

 

Concerning hypothermia, I think I read somewhere that it is currently already getting colder when you go up mountains, also there is more wind ... please do not ask for sources here or spread this as hard facts, just think I read it somewhere.

I like this idea , I will share my thoughts down here .... If we had massive mountains that would be pretty sweet , little cute mountain goats could be hopping all over the mountains ! But goats aside it would be a great place to make camp and would be one more thing "to do" in the zombie apocalypse (hike dangerous mountains like rocket :) )

I'd like to see this as well. But surviving there even for a short time will have to be a challenge, even once you're fully geared and you're only there for a short time. I'm a fan of challenging PvE and in my opinion DayZ could use a bit more.

I LOVE it !  Mabey we would need some rare Arctic clothes to even reach it. This is a Great idea. That is if they added it and expanded the map. I think it's getting way to small as it is with a new town or camp being added every month.
