Last update from the devs on twitter was 5 hours ago saying the main server was stabilized but individual server owners will need to restart their servers.

I haven't tried yet, because I have to work, but I will when I get home and I hope it's fixed, I really want to play ;p

Almost EVERY server I try to join, I see people just spamming radio commands. I'm starting to wonder if these people are intentionally trying to crash/lag the servers more then they already are.

Pretty sure thats unintentional. Its always happened really. Since behind the scenes all players are technically in the same group, and there is still a group leader...its just the leader automatically barking orders and the rest of the group responding. Shouldnt be visible once you actually get in.

Oh my....I wonder if this is related to the current problems. So I finally got all the good stuff (GPS, NVG, L85A2 etc.) and everytime I logged off and back on during this day I lost something, last time I had my backpack emptied. And now I was sneaking in NE airfield in the dark after a firefight, and just suddenly, inexplicably it shows I have broken my bones, I fall down, YOU ARE DEAD. There was no gunshot, no zombie aggro, I was completely in the open field with 12k blood and I just fell down and died. Is it stable to play, can anyone tell (or is this some common bug I'm not aware of)? Not that I would care anymore after this as I have nothing to lose but...

Oh well, I guess I can't complain as I was really lucky to get that stuff to begin with :)

I checked with the thermal seconds before and no one was there. Also I didn't lose any blood, I've been sniped before and every time the blood count has gone down...now it was 12k even as the score screen or whatever it is appears on the screen when you die. Very mysterious.

what i meant was all of us were waiting for almost 2 days to play, so generally for the time of my post the only servers wasn't full were lagged and not connected to the hive. All stable was full. If u'd smoke less pot (according to your avatar, or drink or whatever is doing that guy on ur pic) u could understand that quite a simple fact. And stop calling randoms douchebags and jackasses or i'll report your ass next time :dodgy:

btw it is YOU who spawn zombies. There is more or less certain amount of zombies around u anywhere near the buildings. But u had no idea either don't u. It's always easier to yell STFU NOOB!! am i right?

The number of zombies total on a server is completely irrelevent to you as a player. Zombies spawn when players get near areas where zombies are capable of spawning.

If a 40 person server had every single person go out in the wilderness together where there were no buildlings, there would be no zombies.

Zombies spawn as you approach areas that have buildings. The more zombies on a server only tells you that more of the players are in towns and near buildings. It's a good way to tell from a distance if there are players where you are heading, if you see no zombies and they start spawning as you approach...likely means no other players are nearby.

The number of zombies that you encounter personally depends on the size of the built up area you are entering, nothing else.

zombies are not spawned based on the number of players on a server.

they spawn when one player comes close to a building.

i have been on servers with 10ish players and 300 zombies,

also been on full servers with 50 zombies.

What the hell??? I just logged in on a NL server I always play on and I spawned in the middle of nowhere. COmpletely empty land, have no idea where I am, seems to be out of the map completely. Also, my whole inventory is gone?? How can I fix this?

Edit: Ok, I guess this is teh Wilderness bug? I never had this happen to me before and it's strange, because 2 hours ago I could play without problems on my regular servers. Now I just went for lunch, came back, logged in and BAM, wilderness. I had some random equipment lying next to me though, so I have a compass. Can someone tell me which way do I get out?

I also was given incorrect information about how zombies spawn, and that led to confusion, which in turn led to mistakenly calling out a fellow member of the forum.
