Lootsplosions Still A Thing?

I found a few on smaller scales in various areas of the map yesterday. Sort of sad seeing the possibility to get from nothing to fully geared in seconds present now. So much for scavenging for gear. Not that I'm mad, but it's just a bit depressing seeing how easy it is for people to get PVP gear now.

Loot is a big issue at the moment but will be changed massively over the next few patches. Usual reasons apply (alpha stage, WIP, awaiting central economy iteration etc.).

Have a look on this site at other threads pertaining to loot to get a full idea of what has been happening recently.

The lootsplosions came back when the devs switched back to the legacy loot system, the new loot system is still being tweaked.

Found a location with over 25 ak's, all 4 varieties, along with mags, and assorted other gears piled knee-deep. "Fix" inbound @ .56.

Until then, yes lootsplosions are still a thing.
