The only way to survive is by server hopping. Also, I think it is fairly easy to grasp where people tend to log in/log out. How about the shower in barracks, for example? I have never been sure about the login procedure, but it seems to me, your character appears and stands there helpless, until you get control and can move or defend yourself. I go way out into the woods and get between a couple close trees in a zombie free (hopefully) area, so when I am a sitting duck, standing straight up, I will be mostly camo'd in the trees. Now if that is not the case on the login procedure, I'd like to know about it. :-D It would be very difficult to find the two trees I am camping out in and I might not be coming back for hours and also not even the same server when I do. Isn't the normal procedure with Bambi's to shoot at there feet and make them dance? Not blow them up and make them fly. Seeing how mines and bear traps are not persistent and disappear with reset ur odds of this happening are very low... In fact it is more worthwhile for the griefer to stand there and shoot you personally since he has no risk. Since we don't have spawn protection from bandits why should we have it for mines? Makes 0 sense. Why does it matter if the player is there or not when he kills the bambi? Hell half the bambis kill themselves ASAP anyways... Creating spawn protection would lead to unfair advantages for new spawns over the rest of the player base and would be very difficult to code. How many people here have even had this happen? I am talking fresh spawn...these players treating the re-login process and wanting the same treatment is even more ludicrous. If you log in and out of military buildings regularly you are just plain bad at this game AND DESERVE TO HAVE A LAND MINE SPAWNED BENEATH YOU FOR DOING SO. Only thing related to spawning I think we need added is they should force you to spawn within the same general area every time you die within an hour in order to combat the suicide bambis.
