Did anyone see a Mosin, Izh or FNX45 since 0.55 global loot update?

I never know if the stuff I am finding now is spawned or dropped. If it was on a shelf I would say it was spawned. The only place I have seen a spawned for sure rifle is behind or next to a tank. I have seen sks, blaze, trumpet, ak74 and akm. I found a mosin sitting in a military tent at the far west tents, but it had 1 round in it so I'm fairly certain it was player dropped. Who would drop a mosin :-)

I have found 2 mosins , but I do not server hop. Though no luck with the ammo.

I play in private servers only, and have found quite a few Mosins and ammo too in last few days. Saw an AKM cpl days ago in a heli crash site. In next heli site we looked there was a FNX-45. But I haven't seen ammo for .45s at all since 0.55. AK-74s are literally everywhere but mags, not so much. MP5 is I think the most common weapon for which you can find magazines and ammo boxes easily. 

 

Only shotgun I've seen since 0.55 is the one with pistol grip.

Seen a couple mosins.

 

Off the top of my head, I've seen these as well.

 

- MP5 (a sh*t ton of these)

- Repeater (just 1)

- SKS

- CR75

- P1 (just 1)

- Blaze (just 1)

- Trumpet

- Sporter (just 1)

 

What have I not?

 

- Magnum

- Longhorn

- LZH

- Derringer

 

I'm guessing the loot system has a lot of people server hopping, and this may the reason why.

 

My best luck has been taking alternative paths while doing multiple full map treks.

The more locations are traveled and looted the less likely you'll see items respawn there. In this exceptions, police stations and police cars are the primary loot locations now for certain items. So as people loot these finite locations, the items seem to respawn in other police stations and cars more rapidly.

Just alternate your route across the map to hit differnet police stations each time. If all you are doing is visiting the most traveled police stations, or even the same ones across different servers you'll have less luck.

 

I was on a full 50 person server the night before last. When I started I only had a pickaxe, and an improvised backpack. Two hours later, I had a MP5, and about 5 clips. Also I was lucky enough to find pristine hand rail and compensator.

Guns no, magazines yes. 2-3 per station if you find one that hasn't been looted.  Where are you looking?

Found a couple already. One was a spawn I've never seen before, in front of that little flat barn which has hail pushed in one of the corners.

Haven't seen or had an FNX .45 in a very long while, possible since .48-.49. I love that pistol too, it just feels and sounds so awesome and 15 rounds of .45ACP is pretty sweet!
