DayZ not booting

Hi there!

 

I just purchased the game because friends told me it was a great game!

Well the thing is.... i can't even boot it for the first time  <_<

 

I've googled the problem,but i can only find things like updates and rebooting.

 

So after installing every update i could (graphics card, steam, ...) and rebooting over and over, i have no result yet.

 

The problem is, i boot the game (in steam or from desktop, doesn't matter) so it shows the message in game community... 
then the screen goes black with the word DAYZ on it (very bad resolution!) and the top left says "wait a moment" 
sooo many hours later... still nothing has changed.

 

Anybody had this problem and how did it get solved?

Does your system fullfill the minimum requirements? Black screen usually happened to me when my graphics card was too weak.

Close Steam, remove the config files in My Docs/DayZ/ (name).

Start Steam and validate you local game files with the Steam tool provided.

 

Check to see if there is a BE cmd window open which is blocking the game from starting.

 

Moved to Troubleshooting...
