Badly damaged gun

Due to the increase in using guns now that melee weapons are more risky to use, for the first time a gun I'm using has got to badly damaged stage and I've not seen a weapons cleaning kit since the last patch. I've only ever possessed a worn.

 

Is the gun likely to reach ruined and I'm guessing its screwed when it does? Anyone else used/using a badly damaged MP5 and how many rounds did it take to get to ruined?

Also weapon cleaning kits are gone?

Weapon cleaning kits are still there. I just stumbled across a pristine one inside a barn. You might want to opt for the stealth&run route though. It avoids ruining your gun until you find one.

I have never had a weapon even goto the Worn stage and i shoot every zombie i see. Every other shed i walk into has a weapon cleaning kit, I do play on private mabey that might have something to do with it. What happens to a worn or damaged weapon ?  does it AIM bad or is it like the  damaged long range scope that can be used like it's in pris state even though it's damaged and makes no differance ?

I wore down a Sporter to Damaged recently.

 

Yes, you can ruin the gun with wear if you don't clean it.

 

The cleaning kits are out there, I have come across a couple myself.

I'm just unlucky I guess, hell I fallen over more tents than I have cleaning kits. Not one kit in about 6 hours play. So I'm checking all farm buildings and all garden sheds too. Ok I'll keep looking.
