Bigbadchuck 97 Posted March 17, 2015 (edited) Well, the hills north of Cherno. Been here an hour just overlooking the town with my binoculars. It's very peaceful up here watching people go about their dayz. Seen two guys meet up at the gas station and head east. Watched a squad track down a bandit and kill him. I can see a sniper in the industrial area looking for targets. One fresh spawn decided to eat something on top of the police station. The sniper got him. Just kinda shows you do t have to anything really at all to enjoy this game. What do you guys do to break the monotony sometimes? DURRHUNTER 597 Posted March 17, 2015 I like to watch fresh spawns punch each other in the face while watching Rocky and narrating the fight. I sometimes go fishing or something people usually don't do, its quiet peaceful.
Mookie (original) 799 Posted March 17, 2015 I find a truck and deliberately drive to the opposite end of the map from home base. Then I join a hi pop server and work my way back. It's not that much of a hobby...

Death By Crowbar 1213 Posted March 17, 2015 I've spied on towns with binoculars before. Finding a "safe" spot to watch Kamyshovo from is always interesting (although there aren't many safe viewing spots there). Sometimes I'll eagle eye off the big mountain pile between Elektro and Cherno (aka Skyrim), or sometimes off the top of the quarry north of Kamyshovo, those are good places to watch people. Actually that quarry north of Kamyshovo has the two water towers that people suicide off of, that can get hilarious sometimes because people seem so hell bent on getting a spawn closer to Elektro they throw themselves off there all the time. Calvin Candie 189 Posted March 17, 2015 (edited) I enjoy following people. Makes you really use all your abilities to stay hidden. I like to track down groups. The more the better.I observe how they go about their business. They usually raid towns one after another. One thing amazes me. You know those players that play the "safety" role in the group? The ones that stay back to guard the group's 6 from any bandits? They usually completely miss the spot where they are usefull to protect their group. And they tend to guard 100m of ground.Word of advice. Bandits are in the hills. Scoping you. Behind bushes and pine trees. Look at the ground at 300/400 plus meteres, then you may discover a stalker. No use staying crouched for 5 minutes behind a barn. You are easy target. Edited March 17, 2015 by Calvin Candie
theevancat 94 Posted March 17, 2015 If you look closely you might find me arguing with a Chinese sniper on the tippity top of the industrial buildings. I managed to get him to try and kill me. It took him five AK drums. I lel'd. Although if he had five drums he was a very persistent looter. "I have fourteen hundred more rounds where that came from, asshole!" battlerhd 116 Posted March 17, 2015 (edited) We tie fresh spawns up, inspect their anus, call them Susen and then make them dig and plant our seeds. Edited March 17, 2015 by iBattleVet
