Fireplace? wtf red hypo

Placed a fire kit down and went hypo red all 3 players did.

 

Is there something new today that caused this on persistence off, private

Nobody knows how this happened?

 

Could this be vilayers doing? server wiped and when we restarted the 3 of us, met up and lit a fire next thing you know all 3 of us went wet to cold, to red hypo in 1 sec. 2 of the players had not been wet prior.

 

I had to log out, the one player just died now red hypo. So what changed.

 

I thought BI had control of the characters, how some of the servers in private got character wipes, and then this fireplace bug :/

It seems very odd that vilayer had this issue but our fragnet server didn't.

What were you guys wearing, are you sure it wasn't hyperthermia (too hot) rather than hypothermia.

 

Had a fire today and didn't have an issue.

Then vilayer has control of characters if nothing happened on private shards.

 

Wearing cloths not wet, the fireplace put all 3 of us into red hypo.

 

The info I got was something happened on vilayers and wont happen again. So I think this is their services.

There was a bug like this a few patches ago on exp where when you logged in your character would immediately become hypothermic and die. Could be an issue with servers not altering the character status until log in or something changes- in this case the fireplace hearing you up causes all the issues to immediately be updated resulting in death.

A bit like how your clothing isn't visibly repaired until something changes in the slots only far worse

I should have stripped down, and started a new fireplace, it might have reversed the problems. I never seen this before. I will log in and die right away, but that's ok to fix the issue.
