hannibaldaplaya 1095 Posted March 8, 2015 Yesterday, my friend and I were visiting the Solnichniy factory. Walking around, scouting for items and other players, we began to take fire from a Mosin. I was hit two times running for cover - The blue hospital building - and barely made it inside to bandage. My friend, toting a sporter .22 with a 30 round magazine, quickly got cocky and tried to rush him, as he was on the roof of the factory. Shot dead, a 7.62x54R to the stomach, I sat with my SKS raised, my arm broken, staring out a window. By now, things looked pretty shitty. Screen grey, arm broken, a round lodged in my back - which ruined my pack - and another in my shaking arm, I waited. Maybe he would rush me. Only a few minutes later, a man rounded the corner, coming from a wall with his AK up. He looked very, very geared. Right as he started to turn he sprayed and I thought death was seconds away. My cursor right on him, I fired, firing until he fell down. Taking one whole 7.62x39 from his barrage, I bandaged quickly, glad to have taken him out. Then came an issue - I had reached a victory but the sniper was still at large. I needed that AK, my SKS was now out of ammunition, its only 10 rounds gone, now residing inside the corpse of corner spraying ghillie man. My moment came just a bit later, as a fresh spawn began to run past the factory. Shots rang out as the sniper used him for target practice. I made my move, I dashed out of the building, grabbed the AK, and went back inside quickly after. I only had a few seconds, only grabbing his gun, hoping that the magazine would be near full. I couldn't take the risk to snag anything else. 63/75, a drum magazine loaded in. Jackpot. Of course, my arm was still trembling and I knew I couldn't beat Mister Mosin. He was a damn good shot and probably had most of the area covered. Before I could plan my escape or simply wait for him to move, the server went down. So, what could have happened? Could I have been shot during my attempt to escape? Could I have sprayed him down as he went to secure his buddy's corpse, drag everything off to save his friend's gear? Who knows. All I know is I'm now living happily with my first AKM in months, a splint wrapped against my injured arm with a good reason to get healthy... 13 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

IgnobleBasterd 161 Posted March 8, 2015 Reminds me of being a fresh spawn with an axe, and encountering two bandits in Elektro. With not much to lose, I simply rushed him and trying to strafe as much as possible. Manages to kill him too, and I think his friend was too far away to get a good shot at me.
