Augentim 3 Posted February 25, 2015 You have to upgrade to 64-Bit. There are several threads now with the same problem but no sticky or 'actual' fix for 32bit yet.

franzuu 211 Posted February 26, 2015 how do i switch it to 64bit? If you have a valid windows key then it will work for 32 and 64 bit versions of the OS You can get the ISO directly from microsoft for windows 8.1 http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkId=510815(works with all 8 and 8.1 keys) Microsoft stopped providing a windows 7 iso, you'll have to find one from a torrent, check comments, uploader reputation etc. to ensure that it isn't tampered with. Maybe you have the original installation media, I think the box comes with both dvds.

Augentim 3 Posted March 1, 2015 Like I said install 64bit. Patch 0.54 added this bug for most of the people who use launch parameters. But before that patch even came out the problem was solved by upgrading to 64bit.
franzuu 211 Posted March 1, 2015 Tried.Still not work...Does it have anything with graphic card? delete launch parameters in steam for dayz ( if you already didn't) delete this dayz folder C:\Users\Franzuu\Documents\DayZ I don't know about upgrading to 64 bit, but you should do it. At least you will be able to use all of your ram. Your windows 7 key for 32 bit (home/pro/whatever) works to install the 64 bit version too
tariba123 1 Posted March 1, 2015 (edited) I've already deleted that still don't work.... Edited March 1, 2015 by Mojsije
therandomredstone 432 Posted March 1, 2015 I've already deleted that still don't work....The best thing you can do, is completely remove everything associated with DayZ from your computer and re-install the game. I've sometimes got this glitch but only for a mear 2 seconds.... on the starting screen...
franzuu 211 Posted March 1, 2015 I've already deleted that still don't work.... Are your graphics card drivers up to date? http://www.geforce.com/drivers you can try reporting this on http://feedback.dayzgame.com/view_all_bug_page.php?page_number=1 What are your feelings on upgrading to 64 bit? DayZ game might go to 64 bit only in the future.

stangster 22 Posted March 4, 2015 This post describes exactly what is happening to me now. I just installed a new GTX 960 card and now have this issue. Even at menu screen on start-up I get super FPS, 80-90 or so. If I leave it sit for a while, it eventually crashes on its own to 1-2 fps and my character looks very blocky and the t-shirt looks ripped at the shoulders. Didn't have this issue with my GTX570. The temp of my graphics card drops at the same time, so it almost seems like the drivers for the card stop loading or something. Everything works great in other games. 60 FPS in BF4 on Ultra. Ran a GPU stress test, and no issues. There must be something within Dayz that is causing the problem.

franzuu 211 Posted March 7, 2015 HOW DO U DELETE LAUNCH PERAMITERS XD tell me on steam MoJoPBSSteam’s launch options allow you to supersede the internal settings of whichever game they are applied too. To access launch options, you need to right-click on DayZ (or any game) within steam and select ‘settings‘. Now select ‘launch options‘ and you will be presented with a single line text-box.
