I am no professional when it comes to the arts of computer design.I am an it tech so I try not to dabble too much into other areas when not needed. Grimey Rick 3417 Posted February 24, 2015 (edited) You're looking for a program to edit them with, or a way to get them onto a website for others to see? EDIT: I use PowerDirector 13 for editing. I liked it so much, I even bought a copy. You can do pretty much anything with your videos when it comes to editing time. sneakydudes 278 Posted February 24, 2015 (edited) I am looking for editing and outputting the file so people can view them. It would be similar to me posting a video here. 3gb is a tad too large for 30 minutes of game play. Edit:I would most likely like to add music, splice to take out the long boring scenes, maybe even splice in a different set of videos. Then compile it to a format that is easy to read from a website.Maybe even do a front website video. I know flash player is probably best viewed for that. Edited February 24, 2015 by FIRMSneakydude

RanshiTV 89 Posted February 25, 2015 (edited) I'd personally recommend Sony Movie Studio 13 Platinum as a good entry level video editing software. You can pick up a copy for around £50-60 (which is relatively cheap, compared to other packages) and it allows you to carry out the essential video editing tasks (cutting up footage, adding transitions, sound effects, music, text/image overlays, slow motion etc) without being overly bloated with complex features that you'd be unlikely to use. You can render your finished project as an Internet Ready MP4, which will be considerably smaller (in file size) than your raw footage. If you want to compress it further, you can download a free app called 'handbrake' - there are lots of online tutorials on YouTube showing you which settings to use for optimum file size vs quality. Good luck! Edited February 25, 2015 by RanshiTV
ScorePoint 60 Posted February 25, 2015 (edited) What OS do you use? Windows or Mac? You need a video editor to edit your video, add music and titles and then render or export it to a size you want. For a 30 min 720HD video, you will still have about 1-2GB file, for 1080HD you will have about 4-5GB file. Depends on original raw file. 30 min raw video file at 1080HD might be about 5-10 or more GB with Shadowplay, roughly. After you edit and export it will shrink down to 3-4GB aprox. And you can upload that to youtube, if you have a good connection, it will take about 30min or so. I've been uploading 3-5GB files on youtube. After you're done with uploading on youtube, and publishing it, you can copy and share the link on other websites.
