Warhoax 63 Posted February 21, 2015 I believe the developers didn't want to give out the dedicated server client thingy, to prevent abuse or easy hacking or something like that. So, it's not possible.

kichilron 8550 Posted February 21, 2015 Are you high or something? I'd love to help you, but can't understand that sentance Don't discriminate. English isn't everyone's first language. It's not my first language as a matter of fact. Yet I've seen proper Englishmen typing and speaking worse than this. arf there are out of the question that I pay 60-80 euro a month just to belong to the public hive , deserting public server and play on private server , they have the means to secure all its prevent kick on public server or another , They're not out of the question, it's simeply a matter of securing the updates for the time being. Currently the Developers have full control over the servers, as long as they're with trusted GSP's. When there's an update, they will be updated. But as soon as the serverfiles are being handed out, it'll massively separate the market, as there'll be literally hundreds of servers that were once put up, but never updated. Some of them will have versions as old as the time the files were handed out, others take about a week to update, and by that point there's another update out already. Especially considering the huge updates that hit DayZ frequently this is bound to happen when serverfiles are released. Expect to have the opportunity to host your own server later down the line. I'd certainly like full control/modability/version control/etc once game is full release but now is definitely not the time.
