Is the AUG worth finding?

I was killed by a guy with an AUG in Prig for no reason.  Instantly got a Prig spawn and hunted him down as a freshspawn.

 

Found him and tracked him for a few hundred meters.  He went into the large tin building with the catwalk.  I peaked inside and he was dead.  Must have been sniped from the hills above Prig.  I crawled in and swiped the AUG and ran away before I suffered the same fate,

 

Never even got to fire it as the next day the server disappeared and has never re-appeared in the server list :/

This is very true. I'm an M4 fetishist, but in the right hands the Mosin is unbeatable - at least at range.

 

I used to rock the M4 from time to time back in the old days. Now I can't be bothered looking for one. If when I kill someone who has one, I let it rot. I'm more interested in morphine and unique clothing. If I spy a Smersh Vest, I wait until I can score a headshot. =)
