Invisible cursor

Man, I can't play the mod any more because I have an invisible cursor.

 

If I roll over various menu items they highlight but I have to swipe all over the place until the mouse-over state of a button appears. 

 

I've seen a handful of 'resolutions' on the internet but none of them work for me. e.g. making the menu/text normal/100% rather than small.

I have not heard of that and most certainly not being a part of ARMA 2 / DayZ.

 

Have you tried pressing CTRL + ALT + DEL and after that "ESC"? This will throw you back into the game and maybe you have your cursor back.

a few windows settings that could possibly make these things screwy in any game:

-make sure you uncheck 'Display pointer trails' in mouse properties

-make sure you uncheck 'magnifier box' in ease of use

That's it! I often have the magnifier tool minimised. If so, the cursor disappears. When I close the magnifier tool and restart arma, the cursor comes back.

Glad to help!  Magnifier Tool has never gotten along well with Steam.
