So I recently watched WOBO's video on cannabilism (on Youtube) and decided to give it a go. After hunting down over 5 players in Berezino, cooking them, then eating them, I have yet to contract Kuru.

 

Has cannabilsm been tweaked or something?

The chance of catching Kuru from human meat is distributed this way;

 

• Cooked human meat: 25% chance
• Burnt human meat: 50% chance
• Uncooked human meat: 75% chance

So when you've eaten 10 players uncooked and STILL don't have kuru you should open a bug report - maybe.

Woops, nevermind, I got it. I hunted two or so more people and ate them. Now my guy is laughing like a loon and it is awesome.

Kuru ingame its defined by eating human flesh which leads to uncontrolled laughter etc.
