Ability to "cool yourself off" with water (wells, bottles, canteens, etc.)

Hello everyone,

 

I'm a new member but a long time lurker. Been playing DayZ for a while now and still love it, even though my character has been reset several times (randomly), of which I still have no idea why. Anyway, I'm not here (in this post) to complain... I'm here to provide a suggestion to DayZ developers:

 

My suggestion is quite simple: implement the ability to cool yourself off with water. :thumbsup:  This is especially helpful for long-distance running in ghillie suits and whatnot. For example, if you come to a water well, you can splash water on yourself to make yourself "damp." Several times = more damp, then eventually wet, etc. The same can be done with water bottles, canteens, etc. - the ability to poor water on yourself to cool off. I suggest it use a large percentage - at least 50% - of the water in the bottle to make you damp, and be somewhat realistic (in a challenging sense).

 

Let me know what you think below. And yes, I am aware there are creeks and ponds to cool yourself off by stepping in. But why can't we poor water on ourselves like people do in real life? Only makes sense for a survival-RPG, and it shouldn't be all that difficult to implement.
