What if he didn't have XP. I was using the compatibility mode as part of the performance tweaking. Now it doesn't work.

I wasnt asking if I should get a new computer. I want to know if that is a deliberate move, if its something that should be reported as a bug or the devs would like to know & maybe comment on.

The minimum requirements always stated Vista as minimum OS, so yes, it was to be expected that the game won't run on XP forever as development goes on.
