i am new to site and will be geting steam Arma 2: Combined Operations today:

i was told i needed these to play on most servers for dayz.

can someone let me know where to find them.

i did a goodle search and couldnt find them.

Arma 2: British Armed Forces lite
Arma 2: Private Military Company lite
Arma 2: Army of the Czech Republic lite

If you want to play the Standalone version of Dayz all you need is this:

You need Arma2: CO for DayZ MOD

You do not need Arma2 or anything else for DayZ Standalone (simply referred to as DayZ) aside from DayZ (standalone)

To my knowledge everybody gets the lite versions of the DLCs (BAF, PMC, ACR), so you don't need to buy them.  Buying the full versions of those three will improve the graphics for certain objects in DayZ Mod.

The BAF and PMC DLCs are not required to play DayZ mod. You do get higher resolution player models, backpacks and a few weapons that were taken from those DLCs though, so they're nice to have. :)

All you need is Arma 2 and Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead.

 

The standalone version of DayZ does not require any other games to play.
