This was the teddy bears under the Christmas trees for the holidays. A week or so prior to Xmas, Christmas trees were added in major cities and other locations across Chernarus, and under these trees are Teddy with gifts inside them. (fruits, ammo, can openers, suppressors, etc.)

 

Since we didn't get another Stable build patch, they are still across the map. See 0.52 Happy Holidays on the top left corner of the screen when you log into a server.

In this recent patch the devz put presents in. You know as a christmasy spirit kinda thing ;) The nice n kuddly teddy bears spawnes mainly under the big christmas trees in big towns like electro and cherno

It actually runs on win xp quite well if you don't mind editing the cfg files manually.
