Healing

Recommended Posts

So on the Wiki it states you need full blood in order to begin natural healing and shows the rates at which you will gain blood back. i have been energized and hydrated for a few hours now and i still am not healing. is it broken? or am i doing something else wrong

I believe you need a status of "healthy" but I've wondered the same thing. I've been like you at times and experienced no noticeable healing.

Usually to get the status you need Energized and Hydrated, but there's 2 different fades of green for it. There's a darker green, then there's the lighter green. You need the lighter green.

I try and eat till i get Stuffed and my Hydrated is like Neon Green color , then i usually get the Healing or healthy bars.. I'll always eat some vitamins too when i find them. Not sure what they do. was thinking mabey they speed up the healing or something. At least there tasty.

Like they stated above, try to get to the light green for both energized and hydrated. The status for healing won't always pop up immediately though.

Right because i need to be at max blood to start healing, and i need to be energized/hydrated to get the blood

Canned Peaches are your friend.

Coupla things here:

1. Specifically to get "healing", you need the bright green "energised" and at least the darker green "hydrated".

2. If you want to get that status, do be careful about the relationship between fluids and nutrition. Fluids contribute to your "stuffed" status. If you eat something, it will also hydrate you to a greater or lesser extent - apart from things like rice or cereal. So you can find yourself with bright green hydration, darker green energised (so not healing), and stuffed - so that you can't eat any more without vomiting.

3. To avoid this, if you're starving or otherwise unhealthy, either eat the dry foods, or the sloppier ones (spaghetti, etc) only in moderation, and not with water at the same time.

4. If you get into this state, run around for half an hour (in a secluded location, obv....) so that you lose the hydration, retain the energised and can thereby rebalance.

5. Yeah, canned peaches or cooked deer steak are my favourite foods.

Hope this makes sense...
