3-D models for optical sights with inner view (view-in-view)

Recommended Posts

Strongly suggested 3-D models for telescopic sights with inner view (view-in-view - like Contract Wars optical sights for example)). Sight reticle must be implemented as a part of gun sight 3-D model. m4a1 ACOG model is similar, but PSO-1 and LongRange reticles implemented as usual sprite and looks not so realistic. LongRange reticle lines must be more thin (I'm work with this type optics). Wikipedia sample image: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/55/Pso-1onsvd.jpg

It's will be new exiting experience in sniper's battle gaming (If it will).

Has been suggested countless times in the past.

And so what?

Hello there

What Gibonez is trying to say is that its customary to search before posting on a subject to see if its been covered in depth before.

We'd all like the optics to be like they are in, say, Red Orchestra, but as the engine stands its just not practical.

This was talked about by I believe Peter a while back, they said they are waiting on the new renderer and optimizations to see if this would be doable from a performance stand point.
