As the thread says we the community would like to get help against hackers. this is since their numbers growing every day just by buying hacks from youtube videos and elsewhere.

The best exsample is on the server where my clan is playing. having like 6-8 people hacking over 2 weeks every day wich is really annoying after a while.

Thousands of players buying a game to play your mod and i really think that developers (Bohemia Interactive), the publishers and you the dev team for dayZ should be grateful and help us out with that really big problem as soon as possible.

While I agree we should try stomp down on hackers, I dont know what you expect to happen. You cant fully stop hacking, its pretty much impossible as there is always away around it.

So sadly, all the devs and others can do is Ban, but more will appear, then they get banned, and its a cycle, not much more can happen.

What do you think everyone is doing? Sitting on their ass? You can only be so proactive when it comes to cheats. Look @ ANY game out there, and mostly it's reactive action being taken. You fight it as it comes.

otherwise i think its up to bohemian and the dayz crew to react if there are enough guys who signed this. this is due they made much money from dayz and as i allready told they should be grateful for the mod and the community. they should go take negotiations with battleeye about this.

and the only way to convince them would be with enough guys signed and they dayz dev team talking with bohemian about that.

I'm pretty sure they guys in charge of it all are doing all they can right to stop the hacking being done. No-one in the world (to my knowledge) has the ability to instantly and permanently eliminate all hackers. I love this mod and this game, and cheaters/hackers do ruin the enjoyment from time to time, but signing a "petition" won't do anything but annoy the people reading the forums. They are working on the issues and they know hacking is a serious problem.

Like I said I'm on your side, so is everyone but the hackers themselves.

Just give it some time and we should see the number of hackers taper off or at least decrease.

Right now its a growing community and the issues will be solved when they will be solved.

The guys upkeeping this fantastic mod aren't twiddling their thumbs up their asses, they're working on it.

As everyone else said, there isn't much you can do about hackers. All you can do is ban, get a hold of one of their applications, study it and counter it and then wait until they update their stuff or come out with new hacks and it'll start all over again. It's impossible to stop hacks because there are, literally, millions of ways to program an application. It's just finding out a few ways to get around protection.

It's kind of like carrying an umbrella around with you everyday. You can discover a vulnerability in your security and patch it up, just like on that one random rainy day that nobody knew about, you were the only one to have an umbrelle. 99% of the time, you're not going to need it. 99% of the time, a security vulnerability isn't recognized in an application by it's creators.

There are for sure ways to make the hackers get bored or stop the mass of hack buyers.

for sure a petition signed from mass of users will take the eyes of dev team und bohemian on it.

doing nothing is just a way to be accept the hacking and accept beeing hacked. or beeing a hacker yourself maye.

While the devs consider your application, I would suggest checking out and signing the "Petition to stop people from being mean" and "Petition for universal world peace". They're equally effective at championing change as this thread is.

Quit being a brat, admit you're wrong, and wait until most of the hacks are identified and worked out. Then the scripters have to get more creative instead of DLing one or two scripts that another person made.

There will be a time where if you find a hacker, you can mark of your "Days since last hacker: 1,009" sticky note, but it's not going to happen now. Especially in Alpha.

There isnt much help like a Tut for admins to know how of setting up thoose scripts for battleeye detection. there should be sticky threads for help detecting scripts and bypass scripts. so thats would be a first good step afaik. Generally a section in the forum against hacking would be a good first step.

there should be a tool wich detects changing script logs directly for the admins and give them all information about what is changed and from who.

otherwise we can sit around waiting for months like doing nothing but accept it for no better good.... is this the way u thinking ? then youre really a pussy with big mouth but nothing else... if youre that good i wonder why you just do nothing else than flaming about other ppl who really want to help the community getting rid of their servers hacked.
