Why do I keep slowing down or stopping suddenly?

Recommended Posts

First time playing since .50 played for over an hour over a few servers(couldn't find anyone at the NW Airfield to shoot me, did eventually)

On each server I would jog or run then suddenly start walking from a jog or jogging from a run, which is very annoying when trying to escape zombies as a fresh spawn...

On roads and other flat surfaces so it's nothing to do with how hills work.

Happened more in cities where the FPS was going nuts but it still happened in that military building up the road from NW Airfield(where nobody ever seems to go) so it's nothing to do with highly populated/city areas.

Happening to others? I hope this won't be constant was excited to play this update after a long break.

Open up notepad. See if your keys are stuck or acting weird (as in letters start typing on their own)..

Its worth a shot to see if its a component problem, causing input issues.

That has actually been happening, recently got my third wireless keyboard in the past month as our puppy split cappuccino on it...

It's an Anker one, quick fix or shall I just Google? I hope it's fixable.

That said it's not being doing it while I was typing for a day or so now.

And we have a winner!

I ruined a gaming keyboard about 3 years ago spilling my screwdriver on it... Damn vodka....

Actually, this did happen to me last night.  At first I thought it was something to do with the fact I was "Soaked" and starting to get cold as I was running.  But I was able to start sprinting again right after it happened, so it didn't seem like an effect.

Yeah I was thinking it might be the first iteration of some kind of stamina system, I was getting hot but it was like every 5 seconds and then it would go away for a few minutes.

Really strange.
