Not sure why everyone is so snarky around here.

Plenty of folks, including big (daily play) streamers on Twitch (who know and talk to the devs) have the exact same argument.

Not sure why everyone is so snarky around here.

1. Internet forums, since time immemorial, have been both the homes and outlets to the majority of the world's personality disorders.

2. Many of the otherwise mentally healthy and stable individuals of these forums have likely seen your very argument a thousand times, and at some point have had to deal with some rabid fanboy hiding behind that very argument like a zealot waving a copy of the Bible at everyone and refusing to actually argue, just yell his point loudly on the premise that loudest is rightest.

3. DayZ is such a unique and interesting game that lots of people get emotionally invested in the very idea of the game - and, naturally, everyone has their own slightly different 'idea' of what the game is.

So, yeah, that's most of why there's so much snark here. It's a bummer. Learning to move past it is kind of like learning how to swim: if you're gonna live near water, it's only smart to learn how to swim. I recommend satire - it seems to piss the idiots off while amusing the intelligent, and there's nothing in the ToS forbidding you from being suave and entertaining like me. =)

Try and play a little less OP, iv been very very good with this alpha...I think im still under 100hrs. Even the mod can get stale if you play it a lot, and theres a lot more to do there. Rationing how much dayz you give yourself can keep it fresh :)

Yep I also advice this. I've 186h behind 90% of that in experimental. Better not to burn out yourself so early.

I kind of compare this to wow such that, when I played during vanilla there were always towns to raid for pvp and such then when they added new zones xpacs and more content people didn't go to those places anymore. The game is still in alpha and still evolving and even when it does get finished I'm sure if it's successful then there will be more maps/xpacs but as they're constantly adding new content it's going to keep changing. Like others have said. The ship was big months ago. Now people are looking inland for trucks and crash sites. Plus now that the ne airfield was removed hanging out on the east coast isn't as useful or fun. as the game changes so will populated areas kill zones and hang outs. Either you adapt with it or you can sit on the boat and complain.

I doubt they will act as retarded as I do though... Plenty of guys here agree with me and no one complains about them.

Go to Elektro. Everytime I'm there I meet at least 3 people, some days 5-10. Mostly friendly players and It's usually lots of fun. When you're there, play in servers with anywhere between 15-40 players. :)

Here's what OP said:

'WAHHH People aren't wandering into my sights after a half hour in a place that everyone who has a week's experience tends to avoid because it has crap loot and is wide open to snipers, this game sucks!'

Most people complain about the game's glitches, slow development, lack of friendly people, ect ect.

This guy complains that he hasn't seen anyone visit a shipwreck that no one even goes to anymore.

Now I've seen everything.

I didn't go to Rify for the longest time, then when I wanted to see if it was still a hotspot, I fell of a ledge. Fuck that ship, and everyone in it!

That doesn't change the fact it has become extremely boring. It's actually developer's fault for releasing their games in pre-alpha state. I hope the trend will go away in the next few years.

Blaming the Developers for not finding anyone in the game has got to be one of the most nonsensical things I have heard thus far, though. Kudos! Even I learn something new every day.

This thread has run its course, multiple times have you said it is the Developers fault and that the game will never be finished, is a buggy mess, etc. Yet you have played for a year now and most likely have a huge amount of hours on it. This is more than likely more than you will spend on any other game. So instead of blaming the Devs for releasing it you should thank them. Otherwise your entire presence here doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
