Are Police Stations Bugged?

I'm asking this because I haven't played for couple of months, and today, first I broke my leg for no reason when I was just walking on stairs in police station (the one in Kamyshovo). Then with another character later, I just died instantly in one of the rooms (Staroye). I didn't see anybody nor heard any sound, just "you are dead".

Its a bug with elevated floors.  Basically teh game lags and it thinks you fall through the floor and hit the ground below, thus the instant death or leg breaking.

Opened this thread hoping for a Le Carre style cold war reference about surveillance by a secret stasi-like organisation.

To answer your question, my friend, everywhere is technically bugged, but I've not found the police stations to be any more than anywhere else. Christ you can instant death/leg break from running across a flat field!
