    • Yes, make it as realistic as possible, including factors such as health, wind, strength, breath, and other things to insure a straight shot.
    • reduce it so i sways alot when running, but when standing still or walking slowly it is fairly steady, and add a breath holding option
    • keep it the way it is but add breath holding option.
    • keep it exactly how it is now

Hey guys. Pretty simple idea today. reduce weapon sway. In real life if u have ever shot a gun you know that if you hold it steady and your decent at it you can hold it pretty close to steady. With the amount it moves in DayZ it looks like your sprinting with it. I recently found a herd of 6 cows in 1 field, I starting shooting with a MP133 and it took me 8 shots before I hit one from about 10-20 yards away.  Please make this more realistic and better, or at least add an option to hold breath, thank you.

Hold your breath by holding the aim button.

Wait? Did you really lump "yes, reduce weapon sway" and "make weapon sway as realistic as possible" in the same vote option? I call a biased poll on this!

My opinion: The sway as it is works perfectly fine on handguns (that huge sway is after sprinting over long distances) but its a little too much for any rifle/shotgun with a buttstock and not enough for rifles and shotguns without a buttstock (on average). I would like it if sway depended on the weapon - possibly linked to its weight with modification through specific attachments* like handguard, buttstock and bipod (sway reduction) as well as silencers, gun wraps, scopes and underbarrel equipment (increased sway).

*Including fixed ones like the Mosin stock.

I frequently shoot small and large caliber rifles with both low and high power scopes. Personally I'd like to see the sitting position adjusted so that you can rest the rifle on your knee or the kneeling position adjusted so you rest your elbow on your knee while holding the rifle. Also as any good woodsman knows, it's always a smart idea to steady yourself/rifle against a tree or other solid object while hunting. It has the same effect as a bipod and nearly eliminates weapon sway. This isn't always necessary if you're hunting larger things like deer (or people?) because you're aiming at a larger target, depending on distance of course. However, if I had the option, I would do it anyway for increased accuracy just to improve my odds of hitting my intended target. It would be nice to either automatically stabilize your aim or have the option to do so if standing next to a large solid object. I don't know about other marksmen, but all the techniques I mentioned have been common practice for me all my life.

I don't have much experience with open/iron sights as I always use scoped rifles but for me it's nearly impossible to aim, let alone hit anything while walking and using a scope. I really want to stress how much it improves your aim if you can stabilize a firearm on something. Would be great if we had the option to do so.

Sway is fine.

The end result is player accuracy in game is closer to what is seen in real life.

If there's some "breath hold" can we make it a slow exhale sound?

Not a gigantic inhale?

I'd like to see stamina affect the accuracy, a bit like it is now, when you've been sprinting, it's harder to aim.

BTW, many factors are already inluded:

- health (arm fracture)

- running makes aiming harder

- crouching or prone increases accuracy

- I think I read somewhere that holding breath and wind is already confirmed (not 100% sure though)
