Wheel support for vehicles

Recommended Posts

Hi all!

I just recently bought myself a wheel and pedals and I've been having a blast with it! It just feels so real, like driving a real car. Then I noticed new patch notes for Dayz and thought to myself: Wouldn't it be the coolest thing ever to be able to do this in Dayz?

I'm hoping so as well.  Was thinking about buying a set for myself.  I'm sure they'll have support eventually (they might even have it now but I wouldn't know).

If they implement ANY other peripheral than kb/m you'll be able to make it work. Even if your device isn't supported, all you need is a mapping program.

I'd like to use my HOTAS setup in a chopper like I do in the mod. :)

I been using an old logitech wingman ff-gp for quite some months now without problems. No special mapping programs or anything, just setting the controls in the game works fine for me.

Its over all a better driving experience of course, better control and effectivness. I also use the buttons for other actions and pedals to walk/run/sprint, giving gas like a vehicle to your character xD
