I'd Like to Share an Experience That I Had

Recommended Posts

Just got done looting the small military base south of NWAF. My friend and I log out in a small settlement to the South-West. We gave DayZ a break for a little bit because we just achieved the status of fully geared. When we log back in, we see a bambi with a broken leg rolling down the street. He sees us and says "Oh my God please kill me!" So I take out my axe, he looks at me and says, "Put that axe through my skull please!" and I raise my axe, and as it was coming down, my friend runs up to try to also axe him, and my axe catches his head. He immediately passes out. I didn't have any bandages on me, so I epi-penned him and told him to bandage himself, and as he was doing that, the server restarts. We log back in, he is dead. I guess what they say is true... DayZ is a game full of betrayal.

Well. That's what happens when you don't communicate with your mates. You should've established which one of you is going to release the poor guy. I've heard of many similar f**kups, when two friends try to axe the same zed...

When melee weapons are involved, always distribute targets before taking a swing.

Yeah I guess next time we will have to do things differently...

My buddy ruined three leather jackets I was wearing in one day doing that. I kept lucking out and finding  another one, only for him to axe me during a melee. Never took any damage though. It was pretty funny.

When dealing with melee encounters, my team and I have a little system. One guy engages, while the others watch his back, when the one becomes injured, he pulls back, and another guy takes his place. So on and so forth....

LOL at "rolling down the street". I can just picture the poor broken leg fellow who thought he was about to be put out of his misery, still rolling along.

That there was a mishap....let it be a lesson to ya....

Shit happens in dayz though....it just does....just move on and try to learn from it. But serously crazy shit and complete bullshit like that happens all the time. The only thing you can do is try not to let it happen and be prepared for anything.

Last build I by accident almost killed my self........by eating a raw stake....I just wasn't thinking and ate the wrong one....I got sick really quickly and almost died lol. Recently I fell off a ledge and broke my leg in game too. Ruined my boots but becuase I was prepared I quickly fixed the situation. Its going to happen. Someone is going to shoot you, a zombie is going to hit you from behind ruining half you stuff, your freind my mix you up for someone else.....ect ect...Just expect it to happen, and try to cut down on it is all you can do...Be prepared.....I carry to 1st aid kits on every build I do now.....filled with bandages....ect ect. everything I need to pull my self from certian death....1st aid kits to me are vary important items to have.. Be careful when you play...you really have to in this game. Life in dayz is really fragile and kind of cheap in the world of dayz.
