How do you fix empty backpacks/shirts/containers of your victims?

So this bug is pretty annoying and has been dragging on for quite a while. I'm sure a lot of KoSers are familiar with it and I'm facing it several times on a daily basis.

 

Namely, when you kill someone, their backpack/shirt/pants etc. are sometimes visibly empty, but there's stuff in them anyway. You can't loot them, it appears empty.

 

If there's empty spaces in the container, you can put one item and the other will appear. However, if there's no empty spaces, there is no room to put a random item in there and make the rest pop up.

 

Is there a way to solve this, other than taking a gamble and just swapping his backpack/shirt/pants with yours and hoping that when you spawn next time they won't be just full of cans?

take it off their body and drop it on the ground or equip it to yourself.

When they have a full backpack and even taking off the backpack doesn't work, you can take the backpack and relog. Thats a risk to take though.

Place an item of your own in it, everything will appear within a few seconds.

This exact thing actually happened to me yesterday but with a shirt I had in my backpack. I was going to toss it so i put it on the grounf to retrieve the items in it but it seemed empty. I knew it wasn't empty so I wore it but it was still empty. Put it on the ground again and the items appeared and I could take them.
