Edible Pumpkins

Occasionally in Dayz I run into pumpkin patches in small towns... why can't we harvest these?

Kind of ruins immersion. Would be nice to have abandoned crops like this which can be harvested. Also seeds could be removed and replanted to add to the horticulture mechanic.

Yea , they should have done that first , instead of tomatos.  But then people would use the Knife and make Sp0o0ky Pumpkin Head to wear around.  I want to take the clothes off the Scarecrows around to blend in. I could hold perfectly still if i see someone :)

Meh, we can eat people.  I'd rather harvest their souls so I can plant and grow my own human cattle.
