Henyo10 23 Posted July 1, 2012 Confused with Rocket's post whether it will be on Saturday or Monday? And is it on American time (GMT-6?)

fluffyville 0 Posted July 1, 2012 Yeah that patch post was for last Monday. Rocket has said that he doesn't want to rush future patches after issues that came with the 1.7.1. patch. I prefer to regard patches with the same mentality I do with buses. It might be late but it'll get here eventually.

iomegadrive1 9 Posted July 1, 2012 I have seen several people saying that the Arma 2 code won't allow what Rocket is doing and he has halted it.

maxim_malcon@yahoo.com 0 Posted July 1, 2012 Here's a better question.Would you rather wait a few extra days or have a broken update?Let them take as much time needed, I rather have an update that actually works rather than a faster update that breaks more things than it fixes. I would just like it if he'd take about two minutes to update us all. Hell, even just say, "Patch delayed, it'll be out eventually."
Zakificus 10 Posted July 1, 2012 I'm in no rush. Current build is stable enough to play. Bugs take time to fix, features take time to add. I think "when it's done" is a perfect time frame. Besides, I'm sure rocket could use a break for a few days. An escape from the endless onslaught of complaints always helps the development cycle.

I don't care if the next patch takes a month if it has a month's worth of work put into it. But it would be nice if he would say something at all, instead of just falling off the face of the earth (forums).
