What kind of items do stay on the floor on persistent servers?

I can't use tents, because they are bugged as hell, mine got deleted yesterday.

 

If I throw all of my gear on the floor, pants, jacket, AKM, backpack, gorka helmet etc etc, on a persistent server and the server restarts, which items would disappear? Would they all remain? Because people say specific kinds of items stay, not all kinds of. Also would it be fine for me to drop them to a feeding shack?

I tested this in 0.49 and it's just backpacks that persist. Guns, vest, trousers etc all disappear.

Well my gun was still on the floor after a server restart on a persistent server, I witnessed a restart twice. The ammo I put near the gun was also on the floor.

 

I wonder if jackets, shirts and helmets stay or not.

Interesting. With me, I dropped everything and didn't get back until about 36 hours later.

News!

 

 

Earlier today I have put a UK vest, jacket and pants (had stuff inside it too) just to test if they will disappear or not, they did disappear. But the AKM and the ammo is still on the floor.

I think it might be:

 

clothes disappear after 1 restart

 

backpacks persist after multiple restarts

 

guns/ammo will eventually disappear but we're not sure how long.

 

maybe put a magazine somewhere and check back?

I had 1 magazine in the AKM, the other 2 were near it on the floor, both remained there for a day, could have been more, I picked it up 24 hours later. Clothes / vests were gone after one restart.

Alright my suggestion is to NOT trust persistence enabled servers at all.

 

Today I've put my backpack on the floor and clothing on a different backpack because I didn't have enough space to hold them all at once. So two backpacks on the floor, one is my main backpack and the other one was to put all my clothing / axe / helmet etc etc (equipment)

 

I lost almost everything in the backpacks.

 

3x75rnd mags

2 tactical vests

1 protector case, 3 RGD-5 grenades, flash bang.

All clothing which was present in the backpack was gone.

Canned food and rice in the clothing are gone.

Machete is gone.

Matchbox is gone

Medkit containing 1x blood bag 1x IV start kit rest full of bandages

Gas mask

Combat boots

Aviator glasses

Rags, bandages, more canned food.

 

 

 

------ I have to be happy though, I have my can opener! Praise the can opener! Still pristine after opening like 50 cans!

I don't trust it so i wont leave anything anywhere :p

 

I've seen some servers that leave everything that was on the ground at restart others that don't, some spawn new stuff in with the old, other don't want to spawn anything.
