Old Beta Servers

Recommended Posts

I have been playing Dayz for a good while and when the stand alone was released i left the mod and downloaded that

The version of arma 2 that i have been using is retail a bought it from game when i came back to play the mod after trying the standalone i couldn't use any servers i looked into it and it was because of the most recent beta patches only available on steam.

I don't like using steam so i wondered if there were still servers using the most recent beta patch still available on the arma 2 website

doubtful there is because they wouldn't be searchable, bis does hold a server list somewhere for non steam enabled servers on their website,

the reason its steam only beta patch as it uses steam for multiplayer services after the gamespy shutdown.

Im sure you can find some that havent updated yet, but like Helios says, they arent on the server list.
You can only connect to them via direct IP.

So you will have to find communities who havent updated and doesnt plan on updating.

the link i provided http://master.bistudio.com/ will list any server that has been added to it, if you do a quick filter for 112555 (last non steam beta patch) you get

http://master.bistudio.com/?page=1&count=100&filter%5Bname%5D=112555&filter%5Bstatus%5D=1&game_id=5

hope this helps
