Stranded on a high-rise

 After venturing climbing on the roof of a tall apartment building, I found myself stuck. I can't get past the ladder down further onto the floor. There is level difference and I can't step up onto the floor (it won't let me vault somehow). Please help.

I probably didn't express myself clear enough. I'm stuck in the sense that there seems to be only one way ticket to the roof. And I'd like confirmation from other players or moderators that the roof ladder compartment is indeed glitched and will never let you get down. If it is so I won't try to climb other roofs of this kind of houses.
I actually used the form you provided before, I just don't think it is the right case to appeal for getting unstuck because it seems to me I'm just doing something wrong.

Been stuck there myself once, spent a while trying to get out but had to jump off the roof in the end.

I was stuck there the other day, but I did get out.

It took a while but I just kept sprinting and pressing 'v' (not that he'd actually vault) but after a few minutes of sprinting and moving the mouse around the exit my guy broke free.

I had a mate doing the same when he got stuck. Shame that once he broke free a few minutes later he suffered desync and went through the wall and fell out of the apartments. Fell from the 4-5th storey to his death. Ah.... DayZ moments.

Walk out backwards, if that does not work, crouch and walk forward, when hitting the wall stand up (still running). That is how I do it everytime.
