kreinzer@gmail.com 7 Posted October 4, 2014 Previously I've never used Stashes due to their low weapon capacity. But, I rummaged through 1.8.1 patch notes and saw that the Stash can be upgraded to increase weapon capacity.Would someone that has tried it out be so kind to answer a few questions:1. Is the Stash reliable? Meaning, does it save properly, does loot tend to disappear etc?2. How many upgrades can be done on it?3. Can it be built indoors?4. Can it be built on solid surfaces (concrete, wood), or only on soil?5. Is a flat building surface required, or do sloped surfaces work too (hillsides etc.)

I don't think it works indoors, only on soil, and slopes are ok. Honestly they are great, I only use tents now to lead people away from my stashes. Maybe r4z0r49 or kichilron could confirm? kreinzer@gmail.com 7 Posted October 4, 2014 (edited) Yes, I completely agree that they are great when it comes to the "blend in" factor. The only thing that was missing for me was the actual purpose to have them, as 1 weapon slot really doesn't cut it, especially when weapon slots are shared with tool slots. Your "tents as decoy" argument is something to ponder too, very insightful. So the 5 upgradable stages according to you are:1. Stash - Small stash (0 weapon slots, 12 item slots, 0 backpack)2. Stash+ - Medium stash (1 weapon slot, 25 item slots, 0 backpack)3. And then another 4 levels, which would bring the weapon capacity up to 5, correct? Will test one moment Edit :K done, The upgrades are as follows, stash-stash++++ then medium stash- medium stash++++ Medium stash++++ has 16 weapon slots 125 magazine slots and 0 backpacks. kreinzer@gmail.com 7 Posted October 4, 2014 Thank you kindly for the test. But my word, that's a lot of wooden boxes, although those upgrades do go up more than exponentially lol, which makes it worth it.

kreinzer@gmail.com 7 Posted October 4, 2014 Oh, that's a different story then. Thanks again for the info. I did get my info from a valid source though :D Must've been changed even further since, makes more sense like this too.* [NEW] - Tents & Stash sites can now be upgrade to increase storage.-- Small Stash site upgrades - +2 magazine slots per upgrade + 5 armor. Required parts is just etool and wood.-- Small stash sites upgrade to medium once upgraded to level 5.-- Medium stash sites can now be upgrade. Tools - Etool, Parts needed - Crate, Wood. Thanks again for your help.
kreinzer@gmail.com 7 Posted October 6, 2014 Uhm, what exactly is required for upgrades? I've placed down a Medium Stash, and cannot upgrade it. Same deal when placing a Small Stash. I'm on a Overwatch 0.2.5 server, and when placing either a Small or Medium Stash, there is no option to upgrade. I got 6 nails and no matter how much wood I chop and place into the inventory, there is no upgrade option. I got all required/unrequired tools, Toolbox, Etool, Hatchet, Crowbar. WolcottBro 9 Posted December 21, 2014 We can't put any backpacks in the stashes :(
geryon 180 Posted December 22, 2014 Correct no backpacks in stashes. Also stash upgrades must be with the creator's life. If you die you can't upgrade. It's best to gather all the parts and upgraded to the level you want.
WolcottBro 9 Posted December 22, 2014 And only the creator can upgrade it.. I wish I could upgrade my team's stash but I can't :/
