Climbed ladder, character reset

  I've just been kicked from an apparently clan server while climbing up a ladder. After this my character was reset. Is it a common occurrence that character resets if exiting server while on a ladder?

when you log back in, your character apparently lets go of the ladder and falls to his death.

 

they could fix stuff like that, but they're busy developing butter as food loot (bread to come 36 patches after that).
