mrdurkk 0 Posted September 26, 2014 Hey all, I downloaded dayz 2 days ago and when i first started it the game crashed and saying i dont play with the right resolution.so i opened GeForce Expierience and runned it with optimal settings and it worked.now i was playing with the video settings and it seems i cant get my optimal settings to play with. Whenever i try to change the Overall quality to high like here down, my game crashes Here are some of my pc specs: And when i try to optimize my settings Geforce Expierience says: Can anyone plz tell me how i fix this or what the right settings are for my pc setup to run dayz on max settings for my pc? Baker. 1484 Posted September 26, 2014 Hey brother just try this. Do not launch the game through Geforce Experience, launch through steam. Then just mess with your settings. The biggest frame rate killers are object detail, shadows and post processing(just turn this off) so try messing with those. Honestly at that resolution and your cpu you should be able to play with most settings to the wood. But most important is turn off post processing, it is a crime against humanity. I would have thought it would be unplayable but I've heard of people running it at 1080p on that card. Just wondering. Also, Bakermensch, post processing shows you your health level so it's useful to have it set to low, or just to switch it on and off to check if you think your health is low.
