Sweaters

Recommended Posts

How is it that with all the clothing options currently in-game we haven't any Sweaters?

Sweaters, otherwise known as pullovers, cardigans, turtle-necks and so on is something I would've thought would have been extremely common in an area like Chernarus. We may have the hoodie but with the recent release of tempreture and so on it would be ideal to have some form of clothing item that can be worn to keep your warm.

I agree, more clothing options will never hurt.  The only thing of note is that most sweaters do not have pockets.  This leaves limited use, but I have come up with 2.

1.  The sweater can be pulled over shirts:  T-Shirts, Tactical Shirts and Check Shirts.  The sweater wouldn't take the upper-body clothing slot, but would fit over it like a press vest.  The benefit, though, is that it would keep you warm, AND you could use chestwear, such as other vests and the chest holster.

2.  The sweater is another option for the fresh spawn loadout, as apposed to T-Shirts.  The downside of this, though, is you can't really tear a sweater in to rags like a T-Shirt, so I am not sure of the viability of this.

I'm all for adding a second clothing layer for things like Down Jackets and other bulky clothing. Fitting over regular shirts and closer fitting clothing.

Love the idea;....

Pretty sure in most cultures or countries a sweater or hoodie is worn over tshirts Obviously if you then shred your shirt for rags you will only have the sweater or hoodie for protection.

I think you could then make it so you have to swap to upgrade to gorka or other wear.. or when it (like all other clothing) gets damaged.

Not all shirts have pockets but most jumpers or hoodies do or can.

Problem solved..

You can go to the extreme here:

  1. Brasserie (if female)
  2. Tanktop
  3. T-Shirt
  4. Sweater
  5. Cardigan
  6. Jacket
  7. Utility Vest
  8. Coat
  9. Rain-Poncho

Though I think one additional layer for shirts wouldn't be that bad - creating 3 ingame layers. Allows for a little more flexibility especially now as the weather starts affecting you.
