Yes I play Hardcore more UnFriendly and I think It does if I hit you from lets say one side of an airfield to the other also the Mosin was actually used as a "Sniper Rifle" and seeing as I put an LRS on it, hit players from a far distance, spend alot of time observing player "hot spots" and doing a bit of target finding I actually do think it makes me a "Sniper" after all  :thumbsup:

 

I assure you you're not going to hit me from any distance.  

You're missing the point though.  Having a scoped rifle doesn't make you a 'sniper.'  Shooting someone from a great distance doesn't make you a 'sniper.' Watching people for a long time through a scope doesn't make you a 'sniper.'  

 

I digress and I apologize, but getting back to the topic at hand, there will not be death messages.  However, I would agree to being able to rifle through someone's wallet for ID or check their dogtags, notes, etc to confirm identity.

You dont deserve to be called a sniper. Your PLAYSTYLE is sniper. Im not even a sniper yet, but I go to shooting tournaments and marksman courses. Im taking the one at Craft International this summer. But my PLAYSTYLE is sniper.

So no, you are NOT A SNIPER. YOU PLAY AS A SNIPER.

Thank you for clarifying that but seen as we are on a forum for a game it was pretty obvious that I was talking about me being a Sniper in-game  :thumbsup:

I know, I just find the TITLE of sniper to be kinda sacred almost. Its a touchy thing for me, like I get pissed when someone tells me that theyre as good as a soldier for having 1300 hours in Arma 3 XD

Better observations for dead bodies would be a better start.  Rather than just the cold/warm to the touch, let me know if they died from a broken neck, stab wounds or ripped apart by zombies etc etc.

I`m actually hoping we will have visual signs on the body itself and guess from that rather than just have a text telling about it. Game is still in alpha, its not too late to implement some visual damage too.
