Beware where you put it, I mean beware which server you're playing on, some DO NOT have persistence enabled (some do no even tell us if they're configured for persistence). I personally do not own any tent so I cannot be sure but from other threads it seems like if you leave your tent empty it will be erased on next restart.

Happened to me yesterday. I eventually got out by just moving my mouse around as soon as I got off the ladder. Took about 12-15 attempts.

I found 1 tent.

In the large appartment-buildings in the "skyscraper-city" above Cherno (Called "Dubky")

They spawn IN the rooms, like desinfactant-sprays & clothes do, too.

 

So "just" search through all the big towers :D

But when 2-3 people go for 1 tower, they can search relatively organized and quickly.

As already said a bit:

when I get off the ladder, I hit W 2x very fast and aim at the exit. You "just" (again, "just") need the right timing.

Aiming at the exit and going prone does it for me.
