Baker. 1484 Posted September 15, 2014 (edited) Arma 3 DayZ or the "zoombies" mod was shuttered due to the fact it was merely an unauthorized port of DayZ Mod by pwnz0r. The Mod code is prohibited in its licence to be run on on arma 3. So BIS shut it down. My guess would be that it was abandoned due to being completely broken and the "developer" being in way over his head. Its the the reason I own Arma 3. It looked better than SA, was a lot buggier but it had its moments. Breaking Point is fun however I refuse to play on principle.
