Tip of the day: apartment buildings

Recommended Posts

If you have trouble finding food on servers that are looted empty try the apartment buildings. Most players seem to ignore them but I ALWAYS find lots of food there and basic gear like pants, shirts for rags, coats, hats and sometimes even a SKS and ammo for mosin/blaze and shotgun shells.

i take it you mean the tall rows of narrow apartments, and not the big square grey multi-storey ghettos that have just about nothing in my experience, save for the occasional beans and alcohol..

Yeah, the townhouses are pretty good loot spots for civ gear, and occasionally i've found TTSKo stuff in them in elektro/cherno

IMO the pubs/restaurants are the best

These buildings, they are full of civilian loot since at least 48, same now on 49.

i usually avoided them like the plague because i found nothing ever.  Quite good to shoot people from though, but i guess now i've got to keep my eyes open.
