Yeah, I look upon them fondly with hopes of a return to those glory days. Many of the well developed mods are still pretty active. And some of the newer mods like Breaking Point for ArmA III are doing some really cool stuff. There's still hope for a good time yet-- and hopefully more so when DayZ re-establishes itself as the top contender.

Yah, I sense that DayZ is going to take a hit when GOOD games like h1z1 hit the market.
