Yeah, I look upon them fondly with hopes of a return to those glory days. Many of the well developed mods are still pretty active. And some of the newer mods like Breaking Point for ArmA III are doing some really cool stuff. There's still hope for a good time yet-- and hopefully more so when DayZ re-establishes itself as the top contender.

Yeah it was all a bit strange. Although the whole experience made me wish whispering was an implemented tactic somehow. Maybe the lower the decibel, the lower the alert radius for zombies and potential hearing radius for players.

Sure. In fact I'm almost positive the few AS50's we've had at our camp are duped. But we've stolen them from other camps. Not only that. But it's impossible not to dupe. Since 1.7.1.5 every server I play on (Steamgamers/RoosterTeeth Servers) has tents that auto reset the gear that is in them every server refresh. Gear isn't hard to find anymore. All you need to do is walk around the north for a while and you'll find a tent city. There's not even a point in duping anyway. The game does it for you whether that's your intention or not. It's a glitch. Put something in a tent. Then leave it there until the server refreshes. Then take it out. When the server refreshes again the item will be in the tent and on your person.

I'm sure there's a way to fix this. I wouldn't just disregard all hope.

Well, I am not getting kicked from the server. But my friend is. This doesn't happen to him on any other server, but on the one server we managed to get heli he can't join -.-. He joins, and is kicked seconds later for a ping usually around 100-200. Rarley does it exceed 180 though. Anyway, I contacted the server admin. Nice guy. He changed it from 150 to 300. Then refreshed the server. But my friend is still getting kicked. Any ideas? All other servers work for him to my knowledge. The server is running 96061 and the latest DayZ Thanks for taking the time to read :)

This game needs its jokers to be interesting. And thanks, it's not like if I had played on a hardcore server I could've just used rangefinders or anything. Everyone has the same benefit in that server and it would've actually made us more prone to an ambush. And lastly, when you're geared out of your mind and have a large camp, you have to make your own fun. Running around looking for other people's camps all day gets boring after a while.
