The improvised backpack. It's flat against you back, unlike the hunter backpack, even if you go prone, it gives off a BUMP on your back that people might see.

The leather bag doesn't really blend with anything but haystacks. I got to try out the improvised leather backpack though, it looks pretty slick.

thats a great idea i cant wait but i've grown pretty close to my new leather sack i find it pretty amusing and have yet to play with someone who also has it

 

I currently have it myself! :-).  Had also 20 slot leather sack from deer skin, but I disliked it because it seemed rather bright to my liking.

If it had fur same color as the deer, I might have stick with that though.

The improvised backpack looks fucking incredible with the Mosin wrap, full TTSKO, and the Olive High Capacity.

 

Really, I sort of go in sperts by collecting enough to eat, engaging in activities for a couple hours, and relooting. I just hate going through the whole process of hoarding a mountain backpack of food to get shot before you actually use it.

i use mountain backpack because i have still not found a home so i need the extra storage for my stuff. the mountain backpack should hold a lot more tho since its so much larger than the hunter pack.

Would love if you could add some kind of camo to any backpack.

Like those burlap sack wraps, or just small branches with leaves, or maybe some grass or so.

Or maybe if we could loot bits of camo nets and add those to our beloved backpacks?

 

Now I know, that would present additional work for art team, but hey, that's what they do so why not?

My favorite pack was a Mountain backpack I found in Cherno Polana yesterday that had a SMERSH backpack INSIDE it.

 

I was a fresh spawn on a 1st person server and was getting chased by a couple of zeds. I ran through a house with an open door and saw a green backpack out of the corner of my eye. I only had a raincoat and my jeans so I did the old quick stop, tab, quick swipe to my inventory and kept running. When I got clear and was able to check my stuff out, I noticed the SMERSH pack was inside it the pack with nothing else. There's no way that spawned like that, I thought the SMERSH was only at static heli crashes. I wonder if someone stored that there while they looted... either way, it's mine now.

 

Now I think I need to find the SMERSH vest for the super pack! :lol:

I stick to the hunter pack, as I'm usually running a well kempt and obsessively uniform outfit. Like, I only wear the red beret with the Partizan camo, and CDF beret with TTSKO. I will however, stick to improvised packs when running a minimalist and starter gear. My favorite is the new large leather pack, and it looks quite lovely. I avoid the Taloon, as it sticks out like a skinhead in a gay pride parade.

 

Oh, and one thing. The Mountain pack is the object of greedy, overzealous scrubs. Seriously, I lose a lot of respect to anyone that *likes* that piece of utter shite.

Preference is the hunter's backpack for stealth and the above mentioned ability to look over the shoulder.  Still looking for a SMERSH vest to see how the SMERSH backpacks look attached however.

I like to keep my fishing pole on my shoulder and my axe in the backpack so I have to go improvised. Honestly though I'd prefer if I could just keep it an improv courier. If the damn portable stoves didn't burn everything I wouldn't need an axe. :(

Hopefully they add military backpacks soon and more camouflaged bags as well because I like diversity it makes each player unique
