Mariusgt 1 Posted August 23, 2014 Just now I lost all of my items, and we're freshly respawned - this happened for some hours ago too. I had Mosin, almost full military gear, mountain backpack and much more items! Many guns and ammo that took me ages to get! And when I log into ANY server, all my items are gone, I'm in a new place and have NOTHING. I know the game is Alpha, and I know things like this can happen. I'm not bitching, I'm simply sharing my story to feel better. Has this happened to anyone else? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Forrelist 236 Posted August 23, 2014 I've had a few of these occurances where I thought my items were being wiped. Once I had to log out for five minutes, when I logged back in, I instantly thought I had been wiped because I had nothing. After running back to where I logged though - there was a zombie just batting the air in the spot I was in. My loot had gone, but I knew what had happened. TL:DR; when you log out, make sure you are 100% safe from zombies , players etc etc. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

But I posted this to figure out if there was anything I was doing wrong, or if anyone has experienced the same issue - or just me. Both times I was on the top of buildings, where you must go up ladders to get to, so no zombies can have killed me. Neither players, I always stare at the landscape and make sure I am completely safe before logging out. But I'm pretty sure it's because I went into first person mode-servers. This has happened sometimes. Thank you very much for posting the solution DJ SGTHornet! Yeah, it really sucked losing all that gear. I had hunter summer pants, weapons with tons of ammo - everything. I mean the amount of servers that aren't able to connect to the hive or servers that just won't work at all is bad and it's been like this since I started playing in January.
