so im in my favorite server. 

was after a pristine pair of handcuffs.
im fully kitted.  

visit the copshop on way out of novo. 

go in. yes! handcuffs. 

oh im thirsty. drop my akm (all prist) drink. go to move oh yeah forgot to pckup my akm. turn around. there is only a clip laying on the ground. ?

oh great its bugged through floor. maybe its upstairs ?

oh great just my luck. well this server has persistence=ON so no stress ill just log back in and it will be there?

 

Log in, new character standing on beach in berizino.... OOOOOOOOOOO K maybe i joined to quick. ill jump to another and back.

DO NOT IMMEDIATELY JOIN A SERVER AFTER RESTART

WAIT AT LEAST UNTIL A MINUTE INGAME TIME HAS PASSED

Better still wait until there are already several players connected, server restart times may vary.

Specially on the persistent servers, wait until the time is 14:01. If it stays on 14:00 the server is bugged.

Other than that, character wipes happen when the server is rebooted outside it's restart cycle. So either there was an event on the server which caused it to go down (character gets wiped when this happens) or it was a manual reset. (In which case your character gets wiped a lot as well)

Well I died because a bugged grenade exploded without an explosion 15 min after throwing.

 

I clicked respawn, spawned in with a role back 200 meters back :D Had everything and was A.O.K
