Bleeding to death... Rags anyone?

Zombies are so hard to kill now... Almost impossible to hit them with a pick axe.

Anyways.

Bleeding badly, and I can't find rags or clothing anywhere to break into rags.

Any pro tips?

Try using a Farmers Hoe until axes and picks are fixed in .48.  Worked for me in .47 on experimental.  You're still gonna bleed though, almost everytime they attack you.

if you're swamped by several zombies and near a police station, run up to the roof and close the door.  if you lure them up into that cupola, you can lean through the closed door and whack them from safety.

 

it probably works with any door, come to think of it.
