Damnyourdeadman 1045 Posted August 8, 2014 (edited) Yep DayZ is the perfect game for people to get in touch with your inner tyrant+there is not really much to do atm rather than pvping.Your encounters will not change, because there are no skills, there is no endgame goal and no threats. This is LootZ,the faster you realise it,the better. (Of course this is subject to change, always remember that game is still in Alpha) Edited August 8, 2014 by Damnyourdeadman

(Of course this is subject to change, always remember that game is still in Alpha)Yeah man i get your point. I just have a major dislike for schizophrenic behaviours like this. And there'll never be a end game to Day Z neither becuz it's a survival game. No storyline attached to it.But it would be amazing to see more vicious threats, more active threats, and base building/crafting options....like that Rust game.I otherwise have no clue why they put all these crafting tools in Day zSo the group you are in (friends or strangers) all have tasks to keep surviving in your campby looking for food, ammo, materials to fix the base, Vehicle parts to fix ridesand eventually move on to another town becuz the current Base is being surrounded by zombies so you are forced to leave. You know scenery-ideas. That would put more focus on actually surviving andputs pressure on players to trust other's in return to team up and expells the possability of just getting geared and go kill on sight.Cuz being lonely would mean your ass. So you have to depend on each other for safety and resources becuz the world out there is too dangerous. But as you said, right now there is nothing to do, beside deathmatching.Which in my eyes takes away the whole concept this game is based on. Red_Ensign 990 Posted August 8, 2014 probably 3/4 of the players I run into aren't hostile. you guys are hanging around in the wrong neighborhoods.
Bororm 1156 Posted August 8, 2014 He deserved to get shot wearing that clown mask. He also said nothing really to establish any sort of friendliness before handing over his gun. At least chat with the guy first and develop even the minimal amount of a relationship. If a stranger in a clown mask with no pants gives me a gun in DayZ and then says some stupid shit, I would probably shoot him too. What I'm sick of in terms of DayZ is people expecting other people to be friendly without putting any actual effort into it. If you want friendly encounters it takes more work than trusting people off the bat. You need to develop that trust first.
